The Office of Engaged Learning invites applicants for a graduate assistant. This is a 3-month appointment (~20 hours per week), beginning on or after May 12, 2025. The hourly pay is $16. The intent is for the Summer Graduate Assistant to carry over into the 25-26 school year. This is a 10-month appointment (20 hours per week), beginning on August 25, 2025. The stipend is $24,000 and fee remission is included. The fee remission will cover 12 credits during Fall 2025, 12 credits during Spring 2026, and 6 during Summer 2026. The career support graduate assistant (GA) will collaborate with the Graduate School’s director of graduate career coaching on select projects to establish a culture that encourages curiosity about, and safe investigation and exploration of graduate student career development. The graduate school promotes graduate student professional and career development and well-being to encourage successful outcomes on degree completion. The GA shares the values of exploratory student support, encouraging self-reflection and career pathway research, and engaged learning about career and professionaldevelopment through the entirety of the graduate school experience. The GA is an advocate forexploration of careers both in academia and industries outside academic pathways.

Library and Special Collections Graduate Assistant at the Kinsey Institute

Reporting to the Archivist (in collaboration with the Manger of Special Collections or Director of Library and Special Collections), the Graduate Assistant will work with all print materials of the Kinsey Institute to identify, process, and organize archival or print collections. The GA will also create finding aids, bibliographical records, or online archival records. The Graduate Assistant will provide assistance with other tasks or assignments such as digitizing, hiring, training, or supervising part-time student workers in digitization and creating metadata. This position may also work with the Associate Director of the Library and Special Collections and other collections staff on collection-related duties as assigned.
