The Department of Health and Wellness is seeking students for two hourly summer positions.
Student Academic Appointments (SAA) are a primary source of funding for many graduate students. Some SAAs include full or partial fee remissions and health insurance. Remember that you can also apply for assistantships in other departments/offices on campus. Area studies programs, libraries and archives, and centers are other places to inquire about SAAs.

Hourly Positions at IU Department of Health and Wellness
The Department of Health and Wellness is seeking students for two hourly summer positions.
Student Projectionists work under the direct supervision of IU Cinema’s Cinema Technology Manager andoperate as part of a team to present digital cinema screenings. Projectionists also provide the technical support required for live events, classes, lectures, and other public events. Prior technical knowledge or experience is not required; training for all operations will be provided. This position includes 100% Fee remission and reports to the Assistant Director of Cinema Technology.
Graduate Assistant Position Summer 2025 – IU Undergraduate Research (IUUR)
The Office of Engaged Learning invites applicants for a graduate assistant. This is a 3-month appointment (~20 hours per week), beginning on or after May 12, 2025. The hourly pay is $20. The intent is for the Summer Graduate Assistant to carry over into the 25-26 school year at a rate of $20/hr for 20 hours a week. Please only apply for this position if you are available to remain a member of the IU Undergraduate Research team throughout the 25-26 school year.
UGS Career Diversity Graduate Assistant Spring 2025
The career diversity graduate assistant (GA) will work with the Graduate School’s director of graduatecareer coaching on select projects to establish a culture that encourages curiosity about, and safeinvestigation and exploration of graduate career diversity, with the objective to promote careerdevelopment well-being and successful outcomes on degree completion. The GA shares the values ofexploratory student support, encouraging self-reflection and career pathway research, and engagedlearning about career development through the entirety of the graduate school experience. The GA is anadvocate for exploration of careers both in academia and industries outside academic pathways
Graduate Assistant for Digital Content & Project Management
The Higher Education Financial Wellness Alliance (HEFWA), part of the Financial Wellness & Education Initiative in the Office of the Vice President for Student Success, is seeking a detail-oriented graduate student to assist with a variety of website development, project management, and administrative tasks. The role involves supporting key HEFWA initiatives, including website management, platform integration projects, and member administration. The position offers valuable hands-on experience in digital content management, project administration, and communication within the higher education sector.
