Cole Hendrix is a PhD student in Higher Education and Student Affairs, specializing in the experiences of military-connected students in higher education. As a Military Community Advocate for the National Veterans Leadership Foundation, Cole is dedicated to improving the educational outcomes and support systems for veterans. His research focuses on enhancing the academic journey of military-connected students, aiming to promote equity and access in higher education.

Widmer is a recipient of the Baden-Württemberg Stiftung in 2014 for German and musical studies in Freiburgim Breisgau, Germany. He was also a United States Teaching Assistant in coordination with Fulbright Austria for the 2018-2020 academic years.
