As part of Jean Monnet / Erasmus + and Title VI grants, the Institute for European Studies at IU is making multiple research / travel grants to graduate students this spring. They are offering multiple awards of up to $1000 from the Monnet funds. For more information and application forms, see
https://euro.indiana.edu/opportunities/graduate-funding/grad-research-travel-awards.html
The grants are intended to cover travel, lodging, and per diem expenses to support presentation of conference papers, participation in workshops, archival research, and fieldwork. However, other projects related to research or travel may also be supported. The only requirement is that projects deal substantively in some way with a Europe-related topic, regardless of time period or discipline.
There is only one exclusion: recipients of a grant in our Fall 2018 cycle are not eligible to receive a new award in this round of competition.
The deadline for electronic submissions has been extended to April 8 (Monday) by 5 pm. Submissions should be sent to the Assistant Director of EURO, Heather Duemling (hduemlin@iu.edu).
