The University Graduate School is looking for a part-time employee to work as a Graduate CAS (Centralized Application Service) Assistant that will be involved in a multi-disciplinary role. This position is new and will change over time, but we are anticipating needing the position to work in partnership with the User-Experience Manager as a liaison between all IU campus users and the vendor, Liaison International, to ensure the graduate online application, launched in September 2019, is meeting the needs of all University stakeholders.
This position requires multi-disciplinary work that can range from working with applicant data to generating reports, processing requests from stakeholders, communicating with departments, etc.
The position will work with the IU graduate application, testing and suggesting periodic updates and enhancements, providing and soliciting feedback from stakeholders, and helping to set standards and protocols for departments. The person in this position will be expected to provide training to graduate department representatives on all campuses. The position will also develop training documents and procedures for many of our new processes in WebAdmit, the enrollment management platform where end-users process graduate applications for the university. In addition, the position will make technical and non-technical recommendations to the IU Core team who serves as the committee that guides the graduate admissions procedures and processes.
The position will, in partnership with other IU Core Team members, work to approve the graduate program-specific section prior to each new application cycle, and make sure all technical requirements are met and if not, work to resolve those issues. The position will also set up new users and provide training as needed.
Other duties may be assigned by the User-Experience Manager, the Director of Finance and Administration in the University Graduate School office in Bloomington, or by the Associate Director in the IUPUI Graduate Office.
Preferred Qualification:
