 SUMMER CODING POSITIONS AVAILABLE (10-20 hours per week) 

Job Description: Sociology faculty Jane McLeod and Andy Halpern-Manners seek graduate students to serve as coding supervisors and coders for their study of the experiences of college students with autism and other disabilities. 

Coding Supervisors will oversee open-ended coding of data from an online survey of students at Indiana colleges and universities, including the assignment of coding responsibilities, the development of codebooks, and oversight of interrater reliability checks. Work is scheduled to begin the week of May 10th and continue for 5-6 weeks with roughly 80 total hours of work at $18/hour. Previous coding and supervisory experience desired. Flexible hours. Most work can be conducted remotely. 

Coders will work in teams under supervision to code data on undergraduate majors and academic credentials, occupation, and other miscellaneous topics from an online survey of students at Indiana colleges and universities. Work is scheduled to begin the week of May 17th and continue for 4 weeks with roughly 60 total hours of work at $15/hour. Previous coding experience desired. Flexible hours. Most work can be conducted remotely. 

Preference given to students in Anthropology, Education, Political Science, Public Health, and Sociology.

Identify the position(s) for which you are applying to and include the name of at least one IUB faculty member who can serve as a reference.
