The African American Dance Company, a part of the African American Dance Institute within the Office of the Vice President for Diversity, Equity, and Multicultural Affairs seeks an Associate Instructor, Graduate Assistant Work-Study, to support instruction, choreography and logistics for the academic course, and to fulfill organization and administrative duties. Spring Semester AY20-21, 5 month academic appointment. Weekly hours: 20 hours per week, 50% Full Time, Monday through Friday including some weekend and evening hours. Compensation: $5,000 stipend disbursed in 5 monthly payments, a 18 credit hour fee remission with a maximum of 12 credit hours per semester and 6 credit hours during the summer, and health insurance coverage for one year. Preferred if qualified for Federal Graduate Work Study funding, as determined by the Bloomington Office of Student Financial Assistance (BOSFA). Must fill out a FAFSA form for BOSFA to determine if the student qualifies for Work Study Funding.
Minimum Education: Actively enrolled and in good standing as a fulltime student in a graduate degree program at Indiana University-Bloomington
Minimum Experience: One year of demonstrated previous work in education, programming, event planning, and community outreach
