Hourly Exam Proctors - Maurer School of Law

Tuesday, November 11, 2025

The Law School needs to hire approximately 10 people to proctor exams for JD, LLM, and exchange students this semester. The rate of pay is $18 per hour and the dates of the exam period are December 4 – December 17 (though you do not need to be available on all of the days). In order to be eligible, you need to:

  1. NOT be enrolled in any law school classes that have exams this semester yourself.
  2. Be available for 5-hour (minimum) blocks of time between 7:30am and 6pm on at least 4 days between 12/4 and 12/17.
  3. Be available to attend a training session on the afternoon of Tuesday, December 2nd.
  4. Adhere to a high standard of professionalism, discretion, and integrity.

If you are interested, please email 1) a statement about why you would make a good proctor and 2) a preliminary schedule of your availability from 12/4-12/17 to Alexis Lanham (adlanham@iu.edu) by Tuesday, November 25.

Thank you!
