Rishika Chakraborty
Rishika is a Ph.D. student in the School of Public Health, pursuing a major in Environmental Health and a minor in Epidemiology. Her research interest is food insecurity and associated health outcomes in children, particularly in low and middle-income countries. She received a B.Sc. and an M.Sc. in Microbiology from St. Xavier’s College in Kolkata, India. She has been awarded two internal fellowships from the IU School of Public Health and also a Travel-Research Fellowship from Dhar India Studies Program to conduct summer research in India. In addition, she has experience in mentoring students to provide guidance and feedback on study design, data analyses and academic writing.
