Edoardo Lenza
Edoardo Lenza is a Performer’s Diploma student in Piano at the Jacobs School of Music, where he also completed a Master of Music degree under Prof. Jean-Louis Haguenauer. Alongside his work as a soloist and chamber musician, his research focuses on reception history, editorial practices, and the ways scholarly study can shape interpretive decisions at the piano. His early work on Domenico Scarlatti and later research on Beethoven strengthened his interest in the dialogue between analysis and performance.
Lenza earned his Bachelor of Music from Royal Holloway, University of London, and later completed postgraduate studies in Piano and Chamber Music at the Conservatorio di Cagliari. His collaborative experience spans chamber ensembles, opera preparation, and vocal coaching, contributing to a broad and flexible approach to partnership at the keyboard. He also values community engagement through music, having taught students in the Dominican Republic through the Jacobs Virtual Academy and an in-person outreach residency.
Lenza enjoys working with students across disciplines and draws on his background in performance, research, and international engagement to support their applications for creative and scholarly funding.
