The STEM Living-Learning Center (LLC) at Indiana University (IU) invites applications for an hourly Graduate Assistant (GA).
The STEM LLC is an interdisciplinary residential community for first-year IU students on various STEM pathways, and it offers academic, co-curricular, and extra-curricular programming for its students. The STEM LLC GA will play a key role in supporting the academic and community experience of students in the STEM LLC. This position centers on instructional support for the LLC seminar course, student mentorship, and contributing to a collaborative and engaging residential learning environment.
Job Summary
This position is a great fit for someone who enjoys teaching, mentoring, community-building, and helping students find their footing in college. The GA will provide instructional support for the STEM LLC seminar course, assist with grading and curriculum preparation, support Peer Tutors and Peer Mentors, and contribute to programming that helps students build belonging, confidence, and success in STEM pathways. This is an hourly position at $20/hour for approximately 9-10 hours per week, beginning as early as August 1, 2026, with required availability on Mondays from 5:30-7:00pm during the academic year.
